Karl helped the group establish itself as a supplier of hill & seaweed lamb to high quality butchers to SE of England. 12.00 A Farmers perspective - Jim Fairlie, contract farms 2500 ewes near Bridge of Earn, Perthshire. He is passionate about selling & marketing his produce & was responsible for starting the first Scottish Farmer’s Market. 12.45 LUNCH 14.00 The Islay Experience - Marketing & Branding Bruichladdich Whisky - Duncan McGillivray, Manager of the multi award winning Distillery Involved in selling worldwide via shows/expos/seminars/tastings 14.45 Scotland Food and Drink – Paul Mclaughlin chief executive of this new body will explain the aims of the organisation. 15:05 SRDP + Marketing & Processing Scheme - SERIPID (Speaker to be confirmed) 15.15 Review & Questions - Stewart Wood 15.45 CLOSE - TEA/COFFEE 16.30 Visit to Avonvoggie Abattoir / Farm visit 19.30 Dinner
